Volunteer now!

The centre needs volunteers and is always looking for reliable, security cleared individuals, preferably with a background in autism, to help provide additional support to families and young people. The centre also benefits from volunteer help on public awareness days such as World Autism Day on April 2 and at special fundraising events.

Donate now!

Your donation will be used to fund summer camp programs and special workshops offering training for parents, care givers and teaching staff. You may also choose to donate money for a specific building repair or equipment purchase. We are a registered Canadian charity and tax receipts can be issued for donations over ten dollars.

This is an excellent opportunity of acknowledging success and hard work while giving back to an excellent cause.

Corporate Donations

Being a good corporate citizen not only impacts the quality of life in the communities where you conduct business, but it demonstrates and reinforces that you care about the health and well-being of children and their families. The message will come across loud and clear to the public: you are thankful to people for supporting your business and you want to give back to the community.

We can help by ensuring that your message of compassion and generosity is reaching your community in a very visible and meaningful way.

Please contact the Dragonfly Centre by email at or call 1+506-529-8002 to make arrangements to make a corporate donation.

Stock Donations

Donating appreciated stocks, bonds and mutual fund units is the most tax-effective way to make an outright gift during your lifetime.

Whether you donate cash or appreciated securities, you will receive a tax receipt that creates a tax credit. An extra tax incentive available for gifts of appreciated publicly listed securities makes stocks the least expensive way to give. Not only do Donors receive a tax credit for their gift but you also pay no capital gains tax.

Stock donations represent a win-win situation for everyone involved. Not only to you get the reward of making a contribution to an important cause, but you get the added bonus of receiving a tax credit while making a financially responsible donation.

Please contact us if you have any questions.

If you would like to arrange to leave a bequest to Dragonfly Centre for Autism Inc in your will, please contact us.

If you have already named Dragonfly Centre for Autism Inc in your will, we hope that you will let us know so that we have the opportunity to thank you for your generosity.

Donation of Tablets For Local Schools

Recently, through Autism Canada, Samsung, and the Look at Me Project, we acquired five tablets that we have been lending to schools in Charlotte County. Some of our schools are in dire need of tablets to help our special needs children. If you can donate a gently used tablet to your local school or would like to donate them to us, we will make sure they will go where needed.

How will you be Recognized for your Support?

Recognition is consistent with the level of your donation. It may include company recognition on our homepage, Event and Sponsor Recognition Page, conference materials, brochures, marketing and program materials. Recognition will also be displayed in our Annual Report, newsletter, Facebook and Twitter. We will ensure that your message is known to as many people as possible.
